  2. Put some baking soda in a clear glass and mix vinegar into it. Let your kids watch how both things react, creating a frizzy eruption. You can make it more interesting by adding red or orange food colour. The frizzy eruption will resemble a volcano eruption due to the colour. 

  3. Oil And Water Experiment
  4. This simple experiment offers a great learning experience. Take a clear glass of water and put a few drops of oil in it. Then add an emulsifier to the mix and let your kids enjoy the changes. It will help them understand density easily. 

  5. Dancing Raisins
  6. This is another interesting experiment that requires a few things. Take a clear glass and fill it with lemonade or sparkling water. Add some raisins to it, and let your kids enjoy the raisins dancing. The raisins will pop up and down along with the bubbles. 

  7. Colour-changing Milk
  8. Take a shallow dish and pour some milk in it. Then add a few drops of different food colour in the milk and dip a cotton bud coated with liquid washing detergent. The colour starts swirling as soon as you put the bud in. This colour-changing milk experiment is a great way to introduce observation and communicate the findings. 

  9. Static Comb
  10. To do this activity, you’ll need some pieces of coloured paper. Scatter the pieces of paper on a table. Now, take a plastic comb and rub it against your hair. Then hold the comb over the paper pieces. The comb will start attracting the pieces of paper. This experiment is not only interesting but also teaches the basics of static electricity. 

  11. Learn What Dissolves In Water
  12. To make your child know what dissolves in water and what does not, this activity is very useful. Take a few clear glasses filled with water. Then take things such as salt, sugar, grains, rice, etc. and let your child put the things one by one in each glass. After some time you ask them what are things that got dissolved. 

  13. See What Sinks And What Floats
  14. For this activity, you will need a tub filled with water and some items, such as plastic bottles, small wood sticks, stones, etc. Now, let your child put the things one by one and see if the things float or sink.
